A new Instagram sensation is joining the ranks of NYC’s ramen burger, unicorn latte, and rainbow bagel… ladies and gentlemen, meet the Doughflower.

Do people even buy food to eat it anymore? It’s like someone put out the rumor that instagramming your food before you eat it aids the digestion. Nevertheless, we’re as guilty and most of you reading this, whenever we see a trend forming… we just have to try it to see what all the fuss is about.

So that brings us to our latest Instagram trend. The Doughflower. Originally created to honor Mothers day, this infinitely ‘grammable treat took the internet by storm. It is essentially a common doughnut folded and finagled to look like a rose. The doughflower is available throughout the city and comes with a variety of glazes; Italian blood orange, strawberry and rose.

If you’re eager to try this treat, they cost $5 at your nearest Doughnut Plant. You’ll find chains in
