NYC has never seen a skyscraper like this before. We’ve shown you oodles of proposed skyscrapers over the years, but this one will leave you speechless.
Evolo’s annual skyscraper competition saw an interesting concept come across their path this year. They liked it so much the building won an honorable mention. The design in question is “Human Castell” by a New Zealand-based architectural design team.
The design can be best described as a wedding cake mashed up with the pile of wall-climbing zombies from World War Z. The building is completely wall-less and is said to call on the myths and tales of everyday city life for inspiration.
In case you’re thinking the building would be the world’s worst office solution, don’t worry, it is meant to be more of an “Eiffel Tower” than a “One World Trade Center.” …oh yeah, and let’s not forget, there’s not a chance in hell that it will ever get built.
Check out the renders below and marvel at the most unusual building concept NYC has ever seen. You can read more about the “Human Castell” HERE.
